Vacuum, use a fabric roller or gently wipe with a sponge and lukewarm water. You can also use a cleaning and conditioning foam specifically designed for sheepskin that cleans gently without drying out the material. Apply the foam to a polyester sponge and bathe gently until the skin or wool is clean. Sheepskin has natural dirt-repellent properties, so by airing and ventilating it regularly in high humidity, it can often stay fresh for a long time without needing to be washed. Avoid exposing sheepskin to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
